Fifty years ago, man walked on the moon for the first time – an enormous achievement for space research.
The following three years, another five manned spacecraft landed, and ten more astronauts walked on the surface of the moon. The last manned flight took place in 1972, which begs the question – what happened then? Why haven’t we gone back? How does spaceflight look today and what does the future have in store?
Welcome to an exhibition about the past, present and future of space exploration.
