Do you want to produce films and interactive experiences for immersive environments, together with a team that wants to use visualization to make science understandable, especially for children and young people?

Norrköping Visualization AB (NVAB) operates the public science center at the Visualization Center C in Norrköping, Sweden. We produce most of the content for the public facility, including shows for our dome theater. We are now looking to expand and become even better. In the coming years we will produce immersive, popularized science content that will be distributed worldwide. We are looking for a Technical Director and a 3D-artist to join our production team.

At NVAB you will work in an environment where you’ll have access to a technically advanced dome theatre and leading visualization research just around the corner. You will be an important team member in a group of people with different backgrounds and fields of expertise creating world class immersive content. 

Technical Director FOR IMMERSIVE CONTENT PRODUCTION

You will figure out the best technical solutions for rendering ultra-high resolution content and interactive presentations for both fulldome and VR. You will be in charge of defining our production pipeline for content production. You are self-motivated, solution-oriented, innovative and not afraid of a challenge.

• You have very good knowledge and experience of creating visualizations, preferably of scientific content.
• Knowledge of 3D-modelling (Maya or equivalent) and post-processing (in Adobe After Effects or equivalent) as well as…
• Experience of programming in the Unity game engine and production of interactive content for VR is desirable.
• You have relevant degree such as media technology or equivalent.

3D-ARTIST FOR IMMERSIVE CONTENT PRODUCTION

You will produce high quality content for the dome theaters and other immersive (VR) technologies. You are a talented 3D artist with high technical skills and an eye for aesthetics. You will be working with ultra-high resolution content and it is important that you have knowledge of how to create optimized rendering without quality loss.

• You have in-depth knowledge of 3D modeling and animation in either 3ds Max or Maya.
• Knowledge of post-processing (in Adobe After Effects or equivalent) and…
• Prevous work in production of content for VR and experience of creating scientific visualizations is desirable.
• You have a relevant degree.
