
Are you creative and curious about the world?
In the Creative Studio, everyone in the family gets the chance to discover, explore, and create through exciting activities linked to STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Every day between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM, we offer a variety of free activities with materials provided, all set up in our Creative Studio – located at the top of the building on the 5th floor.
Each Creative Studio activity includes simple manuals and a set of fun and engaging challenges for you to try.
We have listed a recommended age based on how easy it is to understand and handle the material and activity independently. With adult support, most activities are suitable for the whole family.

Cubetto
Meet the friendly and adorable wooden robot Cubetto and discover the basics of block programming.
Using tiles and a control panel, you can program and decide how and where Cubetto should move on the playful game board. This fun and simple introduction to programming helps you learn key concepts such as algorithms, sequences, and logical thinking.

Data Bracelets
Can you create a real bracelet out of data? The answer is yes – and it’s easier than you think!
Data isn’t just numbers and charts – it’s information. Every day, each person generates tons of information through their choices. When collected or organized, this information becomes data.
By reflecting on the kind of data you create, you’ll get the chance to make a personalized bracelet where each bead represents something important to you – your data. What will your bracelet look like?

LittleBits
Can you build a flashlight in 10 minutes? What happens if you connect a battery, a motor, and a door?
With the technical building kit LittleBits, a world of creativity, problem-solving, and engineering opens up.
Using magnetic electronic modules that snap together easily, you can build small technical systems to perform tasks. Follow ready-made challenges or let your imagination set the limits. You can even enhance your creations with craft materials to add a design element.

Tinkercad
Do you enjoy Minecraft and love building 3D worlds and environments?
Using a computer and the program Tinkercad, you can try creating your own 3D models and environments. Discover a wide range of ready-made objects and arrange them however you like. Build a house, a machine, or even your own space station!
Some prior computer experience is helpful, but not required – you can also learn as you go.

Micro:Bit
Want to learn a real programming language? Here you get the chance to see how digital block code transfers from the screen to a microcomputer – all in a playful way!
With Micro:Bit, you’ll be introduced to programming through a hands-on, educational experience. You’ll use a user-friendly software and a microcomputer that can blink, sense movement, display text, and much more.
You can start from scratch – no prior knowledge needed – and progress through challenges that grow your understanding of programming at your own pace. For those with some experience, more advanced tasks are also available.

OpenSpace
Ever wondered what’s out there beyond our solar system? With the OpenSpace software, developed by Linköping University and the Visualization Center, the entire known universe is at your fingertips.
Using OpenSpace is like playing a video game – but everything you see is based on real scientific data! You’ll have access to the same content that space researchers use. Pretty cool, right?
With OpenSpace, you can travel anywhere in space. Why not steer your way to Mars or explore new worlds, exoplanets, and galaxies?
