Welcome to a journey you’ll never forget
Wander among the sand dunes on Mars? Take a lap around Jupiter? Experience the Big Bang?
Through the visualization program OpenSpace, we can travel anywhere in the known universe. In a live performance in our immersive dome, our space navigator takes you on an adventure where you help decide where to go. Out from Earth, past the moon, our solar system, and our galaxy. Along the way, you’ll learn more about humanity’s exploration of the universe. OpenSpace was developed by Visualiseringscenter’s researchers in collaboration with NASA and the American Museum of Natural History. Using real-time data and scientific facts about astronomy and space, the program visualizes the entire known universe.

Watching a film in 3D means that the brain perceives a depth in the image that is not actually there. To experience the 3D effect, you need a pair of 3D glasses, which we lend to all visitors. Thanks to 3D, we can get the feeling that objects are floating in the air in front of us.
