Visualization centers offer you to experience, discover, and explore using world-class visualization technology. One of our most popular features in the center is our high-tech dome theater where we show dome performances in high resolution 3D and 2D. Throughout the summer, we show several dome performances every day and we have content that suits the whole family, both young and old.

Family Guided Tours in Our Interactive Exhibitions

Scientific data is fun – especially when it’s understandable. Here you can discover it on your own, or get a guided tour in our labs and learning environments. How about exploring authentic 3D scans of the human body, meeting a digital dinosaur, or visiting remote places in the universe in one of the world’s leading computer programs for astrovisualization? We have guides on site, who are happy to tell you more.

For the very youngest visitors, there is our immensely appreciated children’s exhibition The Spaceship – a perfect arena for space-inspired play and exploration!

Play Virtual Reality (VR)

Welcome to the virtual world! In our VR-Arena, we offer you the opportunity to play Virtual Reality with modern technology and experience the special feeling of playful virtual reality. Under the guidance of a knowledgeable VR host and with the help of specially designed controllers and a headset (VR glasses and headphones), you get the chance to try different types of VR games.

Age limit: 8 years with adult supervision

Recommended maximum number: 3 players/session (you play one at a time)

Game session: 1 hour

Discover the Inventor in You! Week 29

Welcome to a delightful workshop atmosphere together with Teksommar. Drop-in, first come, first served (20 spots).

Hologram Workshop

Explore the world of light and 3D effects by building your own hologram from small plastic pieces and tape. By using how light reflects, you can create 3D effects with the hologram, which you can then take home with you.

Invent the Camera

Build a pinhole camera from cardboard, tissue paper, and a needle. Explore how light and a small hole can capture shapes and images. You can then take the camera home with you.

Recommended age: From 7 years

During school holidays, we serve lunch in Restaurant & Café C between 11.30 – 14.00. The café is always open during the centre’s regular opening hours.

The center does not have its own parking. The nearest parking is at the Bergskvadraten parking garage. A disabled parking space is available in the inner courtyard of Kopparhamnaren, accessible via Norra Grytsgatan from Kungsgatan. More options can be found on the municipal parking map.
